Amber Shirk is a Vice President, Banking Center Manager III, and Small Business Lender at
Seacoast Bank. She has a proven track record in team building, branch production growth, and
branch profitability. Amber began her career at Seacoast 14 years ago as a Peak-Time Teller at
the Hobe Sound branch. Within five years, she advanced to Banking Center Manager of the same
branch, leading the team she once worked alongside.
During her initial five years, Amber played a key role in three successful bank acquisitions and
participated in various committees and bank-wide projects, collaborating with multiple internal
departments from Training to Operations.
Amber served on the Ambassador Committee of the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce for
over five years and was honored as Ambassador of the Year in 2014.
In 2019, Amber took on the challenge of managing the Wedgewood Branch in Stuart, one of
Seacoast’s busiest branches, with a team nearly double the size of her previous one.
In 2020, she managed both the Wedgewood and Cove Road Branches in Martin County, each
with unique customer bases and teams, driving growth in both branches.
Currently, Amber continues to manage the Wedgewood Branch with a focus on organic growth
and profitability. She has been involved in five successful bank acquisitions and recently took on
a leadership role in the Seacoast Bank/Apollo Bank acquisition in Miami, Florida.
Amber has added Business Lender to her title and enjoys working with small business owners in
her market. She is dedicated to exemplary customer service and a hands-on approach to
managing the Banking Center. Amber leads by example, embodying servant leadership and
fostering empowerment, encouragement, and professional development within her team.
Amber has also served on the Future Business Leaders of America board for the Martin County
School District and is particularly proud of her involvement in the South Fork High School
Bulldog Bank program, a student-run enterprise banking program. She contributed to the
development of the Freestyle Student Checking account solution for Seacoast Bank.
Amber studied Business Administration and personal and commercial insurance at Indian River
State College and has 15 years of community banking experience.
She has volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Association and has been a Team Leader for Making
Strides. Amber is the current President and a past board member of the local non-profit 4 C’s:
Caring Children Clothing Children in Martin County. Amber has also worked closely with the
Martin County Fair and the Miss Martin County Fair Pageant. Born and raised on the Treasure
Coast as a 6th generation Florida native, Amber currently resides in Jensen Beach with her
husband and two children.
