I began in the Fitness Industry in my mid 20s in
England. First, teaching exercise classes and then
getting certified with the British Amateur
Weightlifting Association to instruct weight
training, Power Lifting and the Olympic Lifts.
I competed in the Clean and Jerk and Snatch in my
late 20s when I was working for Fitness for
Industry as Assistant manager of a Health and
Fitness Center.
In 1988 I relocated to this country, Cape May, NJ
with my 4-year-old daughter, Sophie.
I first worked teaching group classes, including
classes for Special needs adults, for the City of
Cape May.
My son, Thomas, was born in 1992.
In 2003 I became Certified with the National
Strength and Conditioning Association as a
Personal Trainer and have taken many exams and
obtained numerous certifications since then,
fulfilling my ongoing CE requirements.

I have trained youth (including serving as trainer to
my son’s AAU Basketball team) and men and
women of all ages and health and fitness levels.
Since living in this Country I have competed in
Natural Bodybuilding, obtaining 3 Pro Cards.
I have also competed in numerous races from 2
miles through ½ marathons and in several Bench
Press Competitions.
I still enjoy running, biking, hiking, weight training,
kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Tennis and Paddle
Boarding.
I believe exercise to be the elixir of youth and it is
never too late to start!
Helping people improve their quality of life and
reach Health and Fitness goals through exercise is
my passion and I believe, my calling.
On a personal note, both my children have always
been very active. My daughter as a runner and a
swimmer was a 12-varsity letter athlete in High
School. She now excels in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
and Kickboxing as co-owner with my son-in-law of
East Coast Combat Club in Palm City.
I am blessed to be living close to my daughter and
3 grandchildren.

My son was named Press of Atlantic City
Basketball player of the Year in Southern NJ and
went on to play in College.
I moved to Palm City in 2021 where I met my
wonderful husband, Dr. Darrell Fiske, through
running. We married in 2023 and are both
committed to the goal of keeping up physical
activity for the rest of our lives!
I love that we are a fit family and a close family.
I am grateful to be current President of BAM as I
have always enjoyed acting as a catalyst,
introducing people for friendships and mutual
business opportunities.
