Amber Shirk is a VP, Banking Center Manager III, and Small Business Lender at Seacoast Bank with proven success in team building, branch production growth, and branch profitability. Amber started her career with Seacoast at the Hobe Sound branch over 11 years ago as a Peak-Time Teller. Within 5 years she worked her way up to Banking Center Manager of that same branch leading the team that she worked alongside.

During those 5 years, Amber assisted with 3 successful bank acquisitions, and served on multiple committees and bank wide projects and initiatives working with many internal Seacoast Departments from Training to Operations.

Amber served on the Ambassador Committee of the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce for over 5 years and was voted Ambassador of the Year in 2014.

In 2019 Amber took on the challenging role of a branch and team almost double the size of her Hobe Sound team. She managed the Wedgewood Branch in Stuart, one of the busiest branches in Seacoast’s footprint.

Amber started the year 2020 off by managing dual branches. Amber managed both the Wedgewood and Cove Road Branches in Martin County. Both branches are unique in their customer base and teams. She was responsible for growing both branches within the market.

Most recently, Amber has continued to manage the Wedgewood Branch in Stuart with an emphasis on organic branch growth and profitability. Amber has assisted in 5 successful bank acquisitions to date and recently took on a more in-depth leadership role with the recent Seacoast Bank/Apollo Bank acquisition out of Miami, Florida.

Amber has added Business Lender to her title and enjoys working with small business owners in her market. Amber strives for exemplary customer service and a hands-on approach to running the Banking Center. She leads her team by example daily by being a servant leader and offers empowerment, encouragement, and professional development to her team.

Amber serves on the Future Business Leaders of America board for the Martin County School District and is most proud of her involvement in the South Fork High School Bulldog Bank program, a student-ran enterprise banking program. With a team and great resources, Amber was able to be involved with the development of a Freestyle Student Checking account solution for Seacoast Bank.

Amber studied Business Administration and personal and commercial insurance at Indian River State College and has a total of 12 years of Community Banking experience.

Amber has volunteered her time and has been involved with the Alzheimer’s Association and Making Strides. Amber is the current President and past board member of the local non-profit: 4 C’s: Caring Children Clothing Children in Martin County. Amber was born and raised on the Treasure Coast and currently lives in Jensen Beach with her husband and two children.
